(This is a translated repost of Sonntagsmusik: Sebastian Arnold - Mixtape 2011 on Progolog.de, who contacted me in 2019 after I pointed out on Twitter that I had started producing yearly mixtapes a decade ago.)
2011 was just as packed with inspiration as this mixtape. We used to exchange our tapes as Christmas gifts. With a few tricks, I managed to fit 1:21:20 onto the 80-minute CD-R with the cryptic cardboard cover. We recorded with the Inefficient Screws throughout the year, and I spent a lot of time at Berlin’s Funkhaus working on my third solo album. The summer kicked off with a performance at Fusion, followed by a series of great festivals. To be continued...
