The 2015 mixtape condenses my musical influences from Berlin, Upper Bavaria, Poland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, the U.S., and more.

2014 was another great year with lots of concerts all over Germany. We played a tour featuring Arnold+Sukroso of which I’ve brought back many memories, encounters, and even a song or two in this mixtape.

The road movie continues in 2013! A long journey through expansive ambient landscapes, intricate electronica, complex post-rock, and a few spectacular open-air festival moments.

In 2012 I drove through Romania with my drum kit in the trunk, to many German festivals with a tent and sleeping bag, and my new album was all about a trip into space – with a synthesizer, who would’ve thought!

We used to exchange our music as Christmas gifts. 2011 was just as packed with inspiration as this mixtape.

2010 was a year full of musical encounters. In addition to my solo shows and residencies, I played with various groups in Berlin.

In 2009 we opened the Multilayerladen at Kotti in Berlin. Every Wednesday we played songs for each other from our iPods, and the best ones, of course, ended up on this mixtape.
